This teenagers room was such a rewarding challenge for me. She wanted to keep core pieces like the drapes, paint color, and furniture (the desk and dresser were originally lime green). So it was essential to tone these elements down a bit by painting them a fresh, crisp white and keeping the bedding somewhat white as well, and accenting with color. I also decluttered and reorganized the space to make things as practical as they are beautiful. In the end, the thing I love most about this project is the light, bright and cheerful feeling this room gives.
